Everything you need to know in order to give your partner a safe top rope belay.

This is a 1 hour class offered on evenings during open wall hours and is designed to teach you the current industry best practice for top rope belaying. Our class will teach you how to properly tie in with a well dressed Figure-8 follow through and the T.B.U.S. belaying technique while using one of our provided Petzl Grigri’s. We require a minimum of 24hrs between taking the Belay Clinic and our On-The-Spot belay test.  Clinic is subject to discretion of the climbing wall employee on duty as to whether class can be conducted due to amount of climbers at the wall.
