Member Wellness Orientations
As a member of the YMCA, you are invited to take advantage of our Member Wellness Orientations.
Intro to Fitness: For the gym novice, we offer an intro orientation. We will give you a tour of our fitness floor, studios, offer class explanations, etc. You will also become comfortable on our cardio machines and know how to use the computer screens on each piece of equipment.
Iron Teen Orientations
For the aspiring teen, between the ages of 11-15, wishing to develop a lifestyle of health and wellness we offer an orientation to assist them in being a responsible gym user. The orientation covers gym etiquette as well as the core values of the YMCA. Iron Teens are able to workout unaccompanied on the gym floor at the completion of their orientation. Iron Teens are not permitted to use the free weight area (dumbbells, barbells, cable machines, anything that you put a plate on)
Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise is about having fun, making friends and getting an energetic and dynamic workout in the camaraderie of others. From Pilates to Indoor Cycling to HITT to Zumba®, at the YMCA we offer a variety of group exercise classes designed to accommodate all fitness levels.

Yoga/Movement
Our yoga classes help you develop flexibility, strength and balance. By emphasizing symmetry of body and mind, yoga improves your body awareness, helping you achieve a sense of calm and clarity in the hustle and bustle of life. We offer a variety of yoga classes aimed at teaching you how to focus attention and relieve stress.

Longevity Programs
Time To Move-A one-hr. circuit training class geared toward the senior population. Mobility, Functional Strength Progression, Balance, Flexibility & Fun! Must Reserve
Enhance Fitness –An evidence-based,ongoing exercise program designed for people living with arthritis that uses simple, easy-to-learn movements that motivate individuals to stay active throughout their life.
Delay the Disease-An evidence-based exercise program specially designed to empower people with Parkinson’s Disease by optimizing their physical function and helping to delay the progression of symptoms.

Strength and Cardiovascular Equipment / Functional Fitness Space
We offer a full complement of TechnoGym cardiovascular equipment and selectorized weight equipment. An offering of free weights, lifting cages, and a platform allow for unlimited lifting movements; and a functional fitness space for the creative exerciser.
Personal Trainers
Personal training at the Y is offered through a group of professional individuals, all holding current nationally recognized credentials. Their backgrounds are diverse, allowing you to choose the right trainer for your health and wellness goals.

Meet the Trainers
Pilates Reformer
Pilates at the Y is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method. Pilates is user-friendly for the beginner and challenging for the experienced user, creating an experience which is safe and effective. Among the instructors, we embrace a variety of specialties; from the traditional Pilates approach to rehabilitation, fitness, dance and Yoga backgrounds.

Physical Therapy (Koth Sports)
We are conveniently located in the YMCA facility. Our therapy services are available to anyone, regardless of whether or not they are a member of the YMCA. Koth Sports and the YMCA have developed this “Partnership in Health” to promote a healthy lifestyle and improve access to health care for individuals and families in our community. Koth Sports and the YMCA are working together to help you stay active and injury free.
