Summer Time at the Y Pool!!!
Enjoy our 5 lane 25 yard lap pool or our leisure pool, which includes a zero depth entry, lazy river, splash fountains, and our 130 ft. long slide.

Dates and times listed below are through Labor Day 2010.

Lap Swimming is available all day EXCEPT for these times:
  • Adult Learn to Swim 900-1000am AND 600-700pm on Mondays only (2 lanes open).

    Masters Swim Team
    Enjoy a structured workout for the intermediate to advanced swimmer with an experienced coach. The class will offer improvement on stroke technique and conditioning. Should be able to handle a one hour practice comfortably. Coached by Imani.

    Pre-Masters Swim Program
    This class is designed for the beginner level swimmer. Participants should be comfortable in the water, and able to swim 2 lengths of pool with ease. Class will focus on proper stroke technique, turns, starts, and improving endurance. Coached by Imani.

    Hydro-Fit
    Water fitness class that includes the special Hydro-Fit equipment helping you to increase strength, tone up and improve your cardio. Participants should be comfortable in deep water. Taught by Margie.

    Private/ Semi Private Swim Lessons
    For participants 1 year old and beyond who desire individual instruction. Learn to swim at your own pace. Please arrange your own partner for semi-private lessons.

    Member: 4 pack: $80 for 4 thirty minute sessions or $25 drop in rate

    Splash Dance
    This fun and unique program is designed for a low-impact cardio workout, designed to build a stronger core by focusing on strength training, flexibility, mobility, and toning.

    Parent & Me Swim Classes
    This class is designed for beginners and toddlers, ages ranging from 12-36 months. Participants are required to wear a swim diaper or plastic swim pants. Adults must accompany their child in the pool.

    Scuba Diving Certification

    Swim Team
    Designed to encourage healthy competition between peers. Coached by Brian Gallagher. Pre-requisites: Completion of kids conditioning and/or ability to swim two lengths of front and back crawl.
    Swim Team trains in Elkhorn from 630-9am in June, July & August.

    Lifeguarding Certification
    Do you want to become a lifeguard? This class will certify you for Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR (adult, child & infant), and AED.

    Swimming lessons for children are designed to be fun and nurturing to get your youngster comfortable in the water, while striving to teach your child water safety. Classes will have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 8.
